The Invincible Full-Moon System

Chapter 1356 Night of the Demon Moon's Plan

Meanwhile, in the capital city of the Elven Kingdom.

It has been a couple of days since Shadow's first minion was taken down.

Despite it should have been a good thing for the Elven Kingdom, it was not, the first minion's death made the second minion extremely alert. Finding it became incredibly difficult and the terror continued.

Dozens of villages were attacked by the Elven-turned-slaves.

A lot of them were hiding—their presence was covered by the spreading death energy.

Because of that, it was hard to determine which village they were going to attack next.

Each village that was attacked by the slaves became slaves too, their minds were corrupted and expanded the army of slaves that were already massive. Now—with more villages fallen to the other side's grasp, the army should at least be around 20,000.

Finding the minion was already a hassle and now the slaves are becoming a big problem.

A figure appeared on the teleportation formation in the Elven Kingdom's capital city.

Upon manifesting fully, the figure's appearance was exposed, it was Nadia.

One Elven guard approached her, he didn't know there was a scheduled teleportation today.

But he paused briefly when he saw that the person was a Human.

"Excuse me, are you from Dargena City?"

"Yes... I apologize for coming suddenly but I'm here to meet with Morgana if that's possible"

Upon hearing this, the guard pondered for a second before he recognized the name.

"Morgana? Are you coming here to obtain a spirit from the Spirit Tree?" He asked again.

Nadia nodded, "Will there be a problem?"

"Ah, well—Morgana only allowed people to use her Spirit Tree at a cost," the guard scratched the back of his head and smiled awkwardly. "But don't worry—I'll help introduce you to her. If it's for someone from Dargena City, I'm sure she'll give exceptions"

Showing her appreciation for the help, the guard guided Nadia through the street.

But as reached the square with the gate in sight, Nadia frowned.

A lot of Elves could be seen sitting on the street—near the main gate, all of them were lush and seemed to be weeping. Naturally, it prompted Nadia to ask about the matter, "Are they okay? Why are they on the street?"

Glancing toward those Elves, the guard looked away again.

"All of them are refugees from Shadow, their villages are near the danger area"

"Shadow?"

"It's an Order Beast that has been causing everyone problems. But not to worry, it would not take long before the danger passes. Lady Adhara, Lady Gistella, Lord Flunra, three Silverstar Pack members, and even the two captains are handling it as we speak"

Gazing skyward, the guard smiled, "After all, it's the full moon tonight"

"Lady Linthia and Dindora are here?"

"No. Both of them are in the Lightdune village nearby, the village we're heading to"

Upon hearing this, Nadia also looked at the shining moon above.

She didn't realize it but it seemed tonight was the full moon.

"So that's why the castle is closed and Empress Evelyn wasn't seen for days," She muttered.

Nadia found the guard leading her to the opposite side of the main gate, she went into some sort of military base, and was led to the back side, to another gate leading outside, "Why are we leaving from here?"

"It's a little bit hard to go through the main gate," the guard answered as he took out a mount from the stables—a mutated horse. "the villages nearby are also on alert because the minion of Shadow, the last one managed to escape again and the last time it was spotted was a mile or two from a village to our east. It's very close so security is tight, nobody could leave"

"Then, if that's the case, shouldn't we wait?" Nadia asked.

Even though she couldn't stay for long, she could wait until the night passed.

But the guard chuckled, "I can see that you're impatient, and since the Lightdune village was near, about half an hour of travel, I could help you go there right now. Of course, in exchange—you owe me a favor"

Nadia hesitated for a moment.

She didn't need to hurry but she had gone through sleepless nights for this moment.

Also, coming here is not easy for her.

Getting here through teleportation, needs the permission of either the royal pack, Prof. K, or the captains, 'I begged—and pleaded for days to Linthia. She didn't want to be the one who made the decision since I'm close with the royal pack but I finally went through with her'

'But she only gave me a one-day pass. I don't know if I'll have the time' She thought silently.

Seeing her being silent, the guard asked again, "Are we going or not?"

"We're... We're going" Nadia nodded hesitantly.

Fearing that she might not have the time, she decided to agree.

It might take time with Morgana so she has to leave right now or else she will be late.

Smiling, the guard got up to the horse.

He helped Nadia get on before the two zoomed into the forest.

Meanwhile, on top of a massive tree at the Lightdune Village's east border.

"Linthia, have you marked me?!" Dindora shouted from below.

"Yes, you're good!" Linthia shouted back, giving a thumbs up. "You can go now!"

Not too long ago—the Alpha Primes from the Werewolves arrived and reinforced the army of Elves led by Adhara accompanied by Flunra, Gistella, and Rex's clone. Tonight during the full moon, they were going to try infiltrating Shadow's dominion and defeating it.

Adhara and the others alone were not enough to defeat Shadow and that's a fact.

Despite the Demon Moon being present, it was close to becoming a Death Lord.

Death is a high-rank element and that alone proves its power is wild and immense.

Because of that, Rex had assigned three Alpha Primes and their packs to help.

Now that there were at least six high-ranking Werewolves, taking down Shadow is possible.

As for Shadow's last minion, Dindora and Linthia were going to keep an eye on it and guard pivotal points to prevent the minion from creating more slaves. Both of them didn't need to kill it, they only needed to buy time until Shadow was taken care of.

"If anything happens tell your big sister, okay?!" Dindora shouted before waving her hand.

She would patrol the woods while Linthia kept the high ground.

From above here, seven elven villages could be seen and she would keep an eye on them.

Upon hearing this, Linthia smiled pleasantly and nodded.

Since Dindora's return and also the incident with Valthor—she becomes closer to Dindora to the point that she even expresses her doubts and fears that she hid inside. Dindora listened to her attentively and even gave constructive advice.

Out of the three captains, Linthia was the only one who hadn't evolved.

Her bloodline was still stuck the same and that inhibited her growth.

And that was the reason she was taken lightly by the Aldri Family, especially Valthor.

Even some of the people talked behind her back, saying that since she didn't evolve, during the war, she must not have the same loyalty and determination to aid Rex and his pack. She couldn't brush that off even if she wanted to.

Fortunately, Dindora was there to console her.

In a way, Dindora became a big sister to her and she felt way better ever since.

"I will, sister," She mused and focused on the moment. "I do hope nothing happened though"

Several dozen miles from her location was Shadow's dominion, the Verdantveil Forest.

Crash!

A couple of weird-looking Elves were blasted, crashing through an inverted dark tree.

None of these Elves seemed to know the feeling of pain as even with some of them losing a limb or two, their faces were still the same, only growls and saliva came out of their mouths, nothing like they used to.

Of course, these Elves were the victims of Shadow's minions.

Having their life force drained, they were turned into unwilling zombies.

It was easy to tell them apart as the veins underneath their skin were ink-black.

Just then—a shadow flew with extreme speed—and grabbed one of the zombies' heads with its massive clawed hand and grabbed another with its other hand. Brutally, the shadow made a clapping motion, squishing both heads together and exploding them.

Landing on its feet, its white furs unfurled and its eyes glowed white before it roared loudly.

Adhara went into a rampage following Rex's fall to the madness.

Her Anti-Werewolf aura created pulsing shockwaves in the surroundings, running rampant.Nôv(el)B\\jnn

Baring her fangs with her eyes glistening with a killer's light, she gazed around and found a lot more zombies charging at her. Most of them still looked like Elves and could even cast a nature spell but some of them had turned into monstrous beings.

Instead of humanoid, their bodies were shaped like a monster with black skin.

Roar!

Seeing this, Adhara growled menacingly, shuddering even these mindless slaves.

Just before she could make her move, another figure landed in the midst of these zombies.

Gistella, full in her Werewolf form with her iron tail behind—hovering like a scorpion landed at the center of the zombies and massacred them. Her claws tore through flesh and her iron tail was able to impale three with each strike.

Both of them were making their way to the center of the forest.

Having the instinct from the Demon Moon, the two could sense Shadow's powerful presence.

In mere moments, Gistella killed hundreds.

Seems like other than the slaves attacking—the unprotected villages, there were also others here to guard the dominion, and their numbers were high, as Gistella could see more coming towards the commotion.

Flexing her claws, she roared in a feral manner at these zombies.

Coupled with the dead and mangled bodies drowning her legs, she looked very menacing.

But then, Adhara made a move again—she floated slowly, with powerful violet flames circling around her body before forming her serpent spirit. As she floated higher, the full moon above flickered on and off.

It was her Moonlight Reversal moon ability, an innate ability of her Anti-Werewolf bloodline.

Under the cursed moonlight, the zombies' approach began to slow.

And in the next ten seconds, their legs lost power and they began slumping to the ground as if their legs had turned into jellies. Only the stronger ones—the monstrous ones could still be mobile and continue ahead.

However, their weakened state makes them easy pickings.

From behind were Flunra, Movak, Fenrik, and Valkis—the four of them were quite behind.

"Old Flunra, have they no control?" Movak asked, seeing Gistella and Adhara on a rampage.

Upon hearing this, Flunra shook his head, "No, they barely lived like Werewolves"

Compared to Adhara and Gistella, the four of them were pulsing with anger but had enough restraint to keep their composure under the Demon Moon. It was not an easy task, even the other Werewolves behind them were losing control.

But since Movak, Fenrik, and Valkis were not completely berserk, they could manage.

All of them could still follow from behind slowly.

On the other hand, the Silverstar Pack experienced a harder urge to control.

Rex had fallen to his wrath, and if the Alpha fell, the pack members were prone to fall too.

Of course that is without external help.

Because of that, it was more impressive for Flunra to stay sane.

Then again, Flunra is way older than them so he has more control during the full moon.

"As expected, without an Inner Fang, they couldn't restrain themselves"

"If that's the case, we shouldn't follow them—and let them run loose. That Anti-Werewolf in particular, is a problem for us. We should separate from them, and meet again once we find Shadow"

Hearing Valkis and Fenrik's thoughts, Movak nodded, agreeing with them.

Listening to their conversation, Flunra frowned, "What do you mean without an Inner Fang?"

"His Majesty told us that he doesn't have an Inner Fang so we assume his pack members are the same" Movak explained.

Flunra was mildly surprised by this, "Huh, I didn't know that. I thought for sure Kyran had it"
